I cannot recommend Starr Dog Behavior enough! Joseph gave me excellent training tips for potty training my French Bulldog, and the results were nothing short of a miracle. Within just three days of following his advice, my pup was fully housebroken. Anyone who owns a Frenchie knows how stubborn they can be, so this was truly remarkable. Joseph’s approach was clear, practical, and easy to stick to, and it made the process stress-free for both me and my dog. Absolutely thrilled from my time with Joseph. We did an in-house session, which was vital, as my dog had a terrible fear of the stairs and carrying up three flights was not going to cut it. He definitely knows what he is doing! I used to watch Cesar the dog whisperer growing up, and so I could see a lot of similarities. Even after just the initial session, I was able to walk away with lots of instructions and knowledge that I’ve been implementing myself. This is not really stuff you can just get from the internet. It’s personalized - he did take time to try and get to know me and my dog. I’ve had friends and family comment on the positive changes they see in my dog so far. Even strangers on the sidewalk commenting about how good of a walker she is. As with any dog trainer I’d assume, you do have to be willing and open to work on yourself. He is brutally honest, but in a good way.

We came to Joseph for boarding training with two dogs with very different eccentricities and needs and were incredibly pleased with his approach and results with both.
