Dr. Effie is the best in the game when it comes to rabbit care. She is so kind, personable, and knowledgeable about my pet bunny’s needs. I’ve been taking Basil to her for 5+ years, and she even had to get surgery to remove an abscess in 2023 and has been doing well since. Basil also has otitis and Dr. Effie has been great to ensure various options of care for her. I can’t recommend her enough!!!!

They took awesome care of my sweet domesticated rat, ZZ during his neuter. He is doing very well post op at home, and is returning to his usual self pretty quickly. You can tell they are a very caring team, passionate about their work and communication is great. Don't hesitate to bring your rats and other pocket pets here. Also, look at this adorable art on the take home bag! I didn't catch it until we got home, but we love the creativity 😊 thank you guys!

I trust CityVet with my cat’s health! Both of my rescue kitties have been to the clinic for their wellness exams and first vaccinations. Dr. Ross and Dr. Giannopoulos have given great exams and gave me plenty of time to ask all of the questions. Lucky to have such great vets near me! Pixie and Miso said they’re grateful too!

I've been coming to Dr. Effie for a couple of years now and she has been absolutely wonderful at helping me take care of my Netherland Dwarf, Ralph. Not only did she do an amazing job with his malocclusion teeth removal surgery (which was done at the same time as his getting fixed), but he's always so at ease with her at his regular visits. It is because of the rapport she had built that I drive from Fort Worth to see her. The staff here is friendly and attentive as well. Y'all have me for as long as I have my fur babies. Thank you for being awesome!

I have always had positive experiences at City Vet Old East Dallas. Dr. Effie is amazing. She is a scientist with a great puppy side manner. I also have June Bug groomed at City Vet. Brigette does an excellent job. June actually enjoys going there. The grooming prices are comparable to retail locations. The atmosphere is much calmer and less crowded.
