I’m so glad I found Holly at Shoreline Pet Grooming through an online recommendation! When I called, she took the time to ask about my dog. I told her that another groomer (Petco in Milford) told me they can't cut my dog's nails because she gets too nervous. Holly didn’t hesitate...she confidently said she works with all kinds of dogs and even fit my dog in within an hour. The shop is adorable and you can tell the dogs there are cared for like family. Holly is knowledgeable, patient and has a great sense of humor...if you can’t appreciate Holly’s humor, you might just be a little too uptight. 😄 I was even allowed to go in the grooming area during the nail trim, something no other groomer or vet has ever allowed. My cat has never needed grooming until recently. Life has been tougher since his diagnosis of an autoimmune brain disease. His hair mats really snuck up on me, and so I called about 15 different places to see if I could get him in. Most don’t take new clients, and almost all don’t take cats in general. I got a call back from Holly this week and she was sympathetic to our situation, and squeezed me in right then and there. She was supposed to be closed that day but it was clear that she had a huge sense of compassion for my little boy who really needed her help. My cat has been through so much this year that he now has a bit of a tendency to clam up and go into scared mode when I have to take him anywhere, but when I put him on Holly’s table and she gave him sweet rubs and gentle reassuranc

I can not say enough good things about Holly and Shoreline Pet grooming. We have been going to Holly for 14 years now. She not only can handle our 100lb, overstimulated dog, but our 14-year-old dog who needs special accommodations to make the grooming process smooth and stress free! Holly has always gone above and beyond for our dogs. Her love for animals is clear through the way she runs her business and provides the best care for all her clients. I had a terrible experience at Shoreline Pet Grooming today. I brought my dog at 8:30 for grooming. Then I got called in to work for 11:00. I called right away at 10:10 to see if he was ready. He was wet, not dry. I asked if I could pick him up after 3. No, that is not an option because they close long before that. Ok. I said I’ll have to pick him up now, it’s ok if he is wet. I just have to hurry and get him. When I got there a sweet groomer was drying him for me. Then the horrible older woman aggressively came at me to tell me off. She was so rude. She raised her voice at me and blamed me for upsetting the entire schedule of the day. She said it was against the law for me to take him still wet (he was almost dry, fluffy even).
