Shaggy Shed

My dog is very skittish and anxious. I decided to try a local place instead of a franchise and I was beyond happy bringing her here. The owner was very nice and heard my story about my dog. I expressed my concerns and she was very confident and reassured me that Rio, my dog, would do good. When I came back, Rio was waiting for me and she even had a bandanna which she never gets. Rio did very good according to the owner :). The prices are very reasonable and they have an indoor are for dogs to be free and a fenced in small yard. I’m beyond happy for finding Shaggy Shed.

I have taken my dog many times to the shaggy shed always a great experience. My dog loves the staff and is always friendly. My dog always looks awesome and smells great! Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to take your dog. You can tell the owner really loves animals and enjoys her work. I have been here 3 times, and we have tried different cuts to find how we like him best. He always looks so handsome. I love coming here! One of my dogs are reactive to other dogs and sometimes he doesn’t do well with excitement. Tanya always treats him like he’s her own and she always is able to fit me in (no matter how last minute). My other dog is super anxious and is so nervous around strangers. She was patient with him and gained his trust on our first visit. I recommend her to everyone I can! I live in Harrisburg and make the drive to Kannapolis without hesitation, it’s worth it for my pup.

I do a Good, bad, and ugly review for every place I review. Ugly- Limited parking in front of the business. They only have about 4 spots directly in front of the building. Bad- See above. Good- I brought in my 2 cats (male orange short hair polydactyl and long haired Calico female) for nails and grooming. I was immediately greeted by Norman, the store mascot. Very friendly orange cat, was affectionate and loving. Major plus. My orange cat decided that he didn't want to cooperate (totally his fault, he doesn't do well around strange animals) and he ended up only getting his nails clipped. He then sulked in the corner until it was time to go. Then we moved on to the Calico (who is very skittish). They spent a couple of minutes getting her calmed and then did her nail clipping and gave me a
