I took my 15 lb dog here to be groomed and while I pleased with the overall cut, I was disappointed with her nail grind. It seemed like this service was missed until I asked about it during pick up, and the staff hurriedly completed it while I was waiting in the lobby. I found that two of her nails were not clipped, which was frustrating considering the nail grind add-on cost $50. I’ve also never heard of a nail grind costing that much. I wish that staff had been more transparent regarding pricing, as I was not told of the add-on cost until pick up. Overall, the staff was very nice but this situation soured my experience.

I take my dog to Ruffit every morning, and frankly, I don't know what I would do without them! From grooming, boarding, daycare, and on-site vet services through the attached CityVet, Ruffit provides everything to ensure my dog is taken care of. Whether it is during the weekday or over a long weekend, knowing that my dog is in the hands of the friendly and energetic staff provides me peace of mind. I can't say enough great things about them!

We’ve been taking our dog here for two years and love it. Doctor Murphy is the absolute best vet and cares about his patients so much. The staff are wonderful and the grooming is great. I recommend this facility to all nearby friends. For new dog parents, I highly recommend the puppy plan the first year - it saved us a ton of money. Yes- they do get busy and sometimes it’s hard getting someone on the phone as a result. But this location is fully deserving of 5 stars

My dog was injured during bathing/grooming. They apologized and said they were training new bathers and groomers. I personally watched as they were grooming my dog and he almost fell off the table with the neck attachment. This is a serious issue and could have killed my dog. The manager said she watched the surveillance and basically told me I was lying. Later, when I realized there was a serious issue, they refused to accept any responsibility for untrained staff or offer any help. Five days later and my dog is still hurt they refused any help (other than charging me for an exam) and suggested I find another groomer. I still don't know what is wrong with him but he has been crying non stop, hiding under chairs, does not want to go outside, peeing in weird places and seems to have no cont

Updated review: 12/29/23 I had taken my dog to Ruffit for years and was always very happy with how they groomed by Pomeranian, Brian. At his latest visit, he came back acting weird. I originally posted a negative review out of concern that something happened at the appointment. However, the owner called me to discuss, they took the time to review surveillance footage, notes from the appointment, etc, and I really appreciated that they took the time to ensure that I knew the details from that day and the steps they took to ensure he was well taken care of.
