Our Akita is on his last spa day here as we are moving. I only hope we find a place that is as wonderful. The professional staff starts at the front and I can’t say enough about Justine as his groomer. She is the absolute best. She brushes his teeth, trims his nails and bathes him about every 6 weeks. Spencer Reed will miss all his friends at Puppourri Pet Spa!

I am leaving this review in hopes to help the next pet owner avoid the experience I recently had at Puppourri Pet Spa in McDonough GA. My Yorkie is extremely sensitive on his back area so I asked if they could not shave him so low when they get to that area and use scissors instead. On a previous grooming, the groomer forgot and used clippers but she immediately sent me a text and was extremely apologetic. I understand accidents happen and I appreciated their transparency, being a small business owner myself I understand how important that is especially when it comes to client satisfaction. Well, I am not sure if they are under new management or have hired new groomers but last week the issue occurred again. I do not recommend this spa. DO NOT take your pet to this place. I explained how I wanted my dogs hair cut. They texted us again about the shape of his head, and my daughter said no, barely anything off, just clean the hair out of his eyes. When we went to pick him up, surprise! They had cut all his hair. I understand that my dog's price is $191 because he's big, but that's no reason to cut all his hair when we told them we just wanted a little trim. All that care for his fur, and you ruined it!

I’ve been bringing my dog here since he was 1 year old — he’s now 3 — and I’ve had nothing but the BEST experiences! The team at Puppourri Pet Spa truly cares about every dog they groom. They’re gentle, attentive, and always go the extra mile to make sure your pup looks and feels amazing. Every visit is consistent, professional, and filled with care. I love how clean and calm the environment is, and my dog is always happy to go! Highly recommend to any pet owner looking for top-notch grooming and peace of mind.

Please do not take your pet to this overpriced pet spa for grooming. The front desk staff were very unprofessional when questioning about my dog’s grooming price and her grooming. I usually pay $181.00 for grooming, and today, with no extra service, it was $197.00. I asked what the reason for the price hike. She informed me that rent, grooming products, and supplies had increased; therefore, they had to raise their prices. She claimed that the prices of the hair bows and bandanas had increased. So when my dog came out with no bandana or bows, she told me they didn't have any bandanas, and it was complimentary, and she would put some bows in her hair after I asked why she didn't have any. Why wasn't this done before I had to ask? The shampoo they used, unlike before, left my dog very dry, a
