Lake Dow Animal Hospital

I am giving them 2 stars because the staff is usually pretty friendly. You can never get anyone on the phone. The wait time is ABSURD. An hour and half and still haven't seen the vet. Very aggravating and disrespectful of my time. If the schedule is overbooked then stop scheduling! Not fair to me or my dog who gets anxiety. Will be finding another vet because it has only gotten worse the past 4 years that we have been using this vet.

My dogs and cat have been patients of Lake Dow Animal Hospital for going on 6 years. We were recommended by others who used the facility. Their level of care has declined dramatically over the last 3-4 years. Less accurate diagnosis and much more erratically prescribing meds to mask symptoms of true illnesses, creating a revenue stream, as many vets do. Why have I remained loyal? Just hoping that a certain degree of empathy might surface and the true value of their profession might prevail. Still waiting!!

Our favorite local vet. We have been taking our pets here for 13 years. Dr. Craig, Dr. Smith are amazing. We recently met Dr. Terrell on a emergency visit with our Yorkie and she was super friendly as well. It's just a great place, where you and your pets are treated with dignity and respect. A cornerstone for animal care in our community, that I highly recommend if you are looking for a vet.

Absolutely the worst service ever. Called and was put on hold, drove all the way to the vet. Still on hold walked in and the receptionist said they don’t do walk ins. I asked how to get an appointment, she said call. I then said, I am the person on hold for the last 16 minutes, with no answer. Then they were cold and very dismissive of my needs. If I was the vet. I would fire the front desk. They are as friendly as a rattlesnake.

This is the only Vet at Lake Dow Animal Hospital I took my dog to. They were very patient with him. They did a good job finding out what was wrong with him. They sent me a card that it was time for his shots. The desk workers are super nice. My Yorkie (Cody) 19 yrs old past away! We miss him! If he was alive he would still be going to Lake Dow Animal Hospital because they care. Linda Wyatt
