Port Orchard Parrots Plus

I’m responding to the reply of my previous review I posted about a month ago. I have ACTUALLY been in the store several times recently because I was considering using their sevices. And due to the cleanliness of the store and the condition of the birds and their cages I would NEVER allow my animals to stay there. I even went back multiple times after my intial visit to make sure that my observations were valid. I encourage people to investigate for themselves and to not take my word for it. Also the gentleman who was behind the counter / possibly the owner couldn’t have been anymore unprofessional and actually disclosed to me that he did not have anything to do with the birds and he just handles the other part of the business. I find his reply laughable and as deceptive as my dealings with

Amazing small little business. They take wonderful care of the birds that live there. Very knowledgeable and so kind. I love to visit and spend time with the birds, makes me so happy. They have great things to purchase for your birdies as well :) Always love going here.

I would give 0 stars if possible. All of the cages were in awful condition. Just walking in you could tell the cages hadn’t been cleaned for a while, the smell and dust hurt my lungs. There was only 4 birds out on the floor and the fact that it was that disgusting is shocking. Birds should not be kept in this condition for any reason, especially when they advertise boarding birds. Thankfully I’m just passing through and won’t have to go to this store again but I feel so awful for the birds that are housed in these conditions!

Recently, I adopted a 24 year old Amazon Yellow Nape. Todd was patient and knowledgeable. He was careful to ensure a good match. I also got a new cage and the basics. While I am a veteran parrot Dad, this was a perfect experience. I highly recommend Port Orchard Parrots Plus.

Todd is amazing with my parrots. Not to mention he is such a kind person. I frequently board my birds at POP and always feel good knowing my birds are in good hands. Thanks again!
