Dr. Armingtons expertise led to an early detection of a spleen tumor in our beloved dog. Thanks to Dr. Armington and her staff, our fur-baby border collie, Buddy, was saved. He gets to live out the rest of his life like any other healthy dog. We have been taking our cats and dogs here for many many years. I wholeheartedly recommended Dr. Armington and her staff. ❤️

I have been with Port Hueneme Animal Hospital since it was on Hueneme Road. The staff is great and the Dr. Is very thorough. The facility is always clean and never any delays.

January 29 my husband and I woke up to a typical Wednesday morning. Fed the wolfies, and I kissed them goodbye. Not knowing that through the day our dogs lives would be intentionally taken. My husband was the first to arrive to find Luna had passed and he immediately rushed Levi to the Port Hueneme Animal Hospital, we were not helped and sent to the closest hospital Horizon. Keeping him alive with CPR. It was after work and I see missed calls. I call back to receive the awful news, by Gods grace I drove through traffic, tears and fears.. but I was too late. Levi passed away during the drive to the hospital. Our dogs were deliberately poisoned. My husband and I spent that night signing papers and looking into what to do with our wolfies. BEWARE: I’ve been getting prescription food for my cat, Penguin, from this clinic for 3–4 years without needing an appointment. Recently, I raised a concern about the food they prescribed, an $80 formula containing fish oil, despite my cat’s history of urinary crystals. Fish products, not just fish liver, are known to contribute to this issue, and a quick Google search will confirm that. When I brought this to their attention, rather than showing concern for my cat’s health, they became vindictive and are now requiring an appointment just to get the food I’ve always purchased without issue. Not that I even want the food anymore, especially knowing it could be harmful, but it’s the fact that they’re clearly being retaliatory. This feels more like a money grab than genuine veterinary care.
