Petco

First time here but put in an appt for a vetco appt, got here early, and still waiting an hr to get my dog’s shots. Apparently the customer in front of me was getting her pets shots only to get bit by her pet-at least this is what the employees are telling us. Well when that happens they have to put the entire clinic on hold. Multiple customers and distressed dogs are now just waiting because petco doesn’t seem to understand how to implement this protocol. We are just told the clinic is on hold. We have seen the owner and their pet walking by us multiple times now since the incident-doesn’t seem like she’s injured. We have no eta, there doesn’t seem to be a second vet to do vaccines for all the waiting customers and our dogs are getting more distressed with the wait. I get things happen an

The date is 12/26/25. My first time in Petco; looking to buy my first fish tank (set) experience. If stereotype is a word, it happened to me there. I was dressed presentable, clean cut, wearing a shirt that rocked the United States Marines on the back of my shirt. I looked to inquire about many questions about the fish department. I found THREE employees huddled in conversation. I walked up, patiently waited until their discussion was done. And when they broke off and walked away fast, I said, "hey guys" I have a question. "I just need a measuring tape in witch the young girl took it upon herself to immediately say, "we don't have tape". All three of them look at me and one by one. Continued to talk way. One said, "I clocked out". Another said, " I have another customer". The third said, "

Best customer service… as I picked up my order, I realized I ordered the wrong size… Young lady that helped me with so amazing she said no problem grab me the correct size did the even exchange super fast and I was out the door..

Cashiers are friendly enough but it makes me a bit frustrated that I always have to tell them I'm a member. They don't automatically take off the cat litter discount etc. I always have to ask. I feel like they want me to forget and unfortunately sometimes I do. You would think it would just automatically pop up when I give them my reward #. Instead I get a " oh you want me to add the discout?" um ya, "I do" is the obvious answer!

Today, Sunday, I visited Petco as I do every week for my pet. I made my purchase and waited for an associate to bring my order. I waited and waited and waited. Three times I walked over to the cashier, each time she called for assistance and no one came. I went back and asked if she was the only person working, yes, and she couldn’t leave the cash register. Finally an associate came out from the office and apologized for the wait, being in the office she couldn’t leave not hear the page. I have never received such poor service.
