We’ve come here for years and have never had a complaint. In January 2026, we came in with our two big dogs and everyone was kind, as usual. But as we were leaving, an employee asked if we’d like to try some samples. Well OF COURSE our two dogs wanted to try some samples. He gave each of them some dog cookies and a small bowl of food. They loved it! My (human) daughter mentioned that it was the puppy’s birthday. He said, “That’s great! We’re having a birthday party!” Then he gave each of our dogs a squeaky-plush toy. Even though Petsmart is a big, national company, they do feel like they truly care about you here.

I have never had any issues with my fish or fish tank till I bought 5 fish from here. Even the replacement we had gotten died in the bag before even making it home and yet they wanted to blame me and my eco system. It has created a very emotional impact on my 5 year old daughter whom this tank is for.

I got the most adorable rats I've ever seen in a pet shop staff was also very friendly and helpful and they had a great selection.

Came here for Banfield vet. Everyone was spectacularly nice and my good boy happily left the room I was in to go with the vet- to my surprise and dismay. They say dogs know when someone is a good person- I guess that’s why Cosmo didn’t mind leaving me to go with them- it’s okay- they got me the right meds for his ear infection and he was much better after a few days of drops in his ears..

They don’t follow their own rules. Yesterday, we came to see cats with the intention of adopting one. The lady in charge told us to return today between 1:30 and 3:00 for adoption time. We came back at 12:45pm, noticed both cats missing from the display crate. When we asked the staff, they told us the cats had already been adopted. If we had known they prioritized a list of “their favorite” people, we wouldn’t have wasted our time here. I used to be a regular customer, but I’ll be taking my business to a place with more professional staff. There is no shortage of cats but shortage of decent humans.
