Pete's Pack Walks, LLC

Pete has been the best thing to ever happen to our red lab pup Tony! We found out about adventure camp through word of mouth at a local bagel shop and have been sending him to play at Pete’s slice of dog heaven since he was 6 months old. We’ve since then done private training with Pete & have boarded him for extended periods and can’t say enough about how thankful we are for such a trustworthy and positive experience. Special shoutout to Quinn who recently drove to the hospital to pick up a hat from our newborn baby to send to Tony to get to know the scent before coming home. These guys are the best of the best and make things happen!

I spotted Pete walking his pack one day when I had "find a dog trainer" on my To Do List and I knew I had to track him down. After a bit of time, I figured out his name and was able to get in touch with him regarding our 2 rescue dogs. From the moment these 2 dogs met Pete they were immediately at ease. They are happy playful dogs within their family circle but do not immediately warm up to new people or dogs. We had several leash issues and of course, we as dog owners needed our own training too. Pete had been an absolute Godsend and we are so grateful for his lessons, his patience, and his mastery of canine communication. Nothing but the best to say about Pete! I discovered Pete in 2022 and have sent my dogs on his pack walks, adventure camp days, and boarding ever since. Pete is the best because not only does he love and care for the dogs like they are his own, he is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to dog behavior and training. You aren’t just sending your dogs to a camp where it’s a free-for-all… there is play time and structure. Because of his education and experience with dogs and the trainers he has learned from, he knows how to manage dogs in all situations. He helped me and my husband introduce our two dogs - one of them was very territorial so we knew it wouldn’t be easy. Pete’s training has been invaluable with both our dogs. He truly is the greatest trainer and connects with each dog. I’m so glad I found Pete after struggling to train with other trainers. Once we started working with Pete, our dog responded and now is great on leash! And within a matter of days after getting our 2nd dog, the new dog went from crazy distracted to more focused and well behaved on leash. We love Pete and so do our dogs!

We are so thankful for Pete! We have a spicy pup named Turbo and Pete was such a joy to work with to figure out how best to help Turbo grow in confidence and learn some much needed social skills. Turbo isn’t suited to a normal boarding or free play type environment, but I have NO concerns with him hanging with Pete because I know Pete understands body language and ensures that Turbo gets plenty of downtime, rest, and structure. We started with adventure camp, and now Pete is our go to for boarding. And, because he knows we’re working hard on boosting Turbos confidence he’s sure to incorporate a few confidence boosting exercises with him. It takes a special person to be willing to take on a more complex dog, and we are SO thankful Pete sees the good boy inside Turbo and not just his quirks.
