We visited the PetSmart East Cobb on Roswell Road twice, and the contrast between the two experiences was shocking. Our first visit was pleasant enough—we purchased all of the necessary supplies to set up a fish tank and left feeling comfortable with the process. Our second visit, however, was absolutely horrific. We were met by an extremely rude and aggressively confrontational young female employee who proceeded to berate us in front of our children. She refused to listen to a single word we tried to say and repeatedly cut us off, insisting—very condescendingly—that her job was not to sell products, but to “care for the fish and make sure they had a good home.” While that sentiment is fine in theory, her delivery was hostile, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. She would not

SUNDAY MAY 18,2025 Avoid booking your grooming AND healthcare here… specifically EDEN (groomer) and Dr. McSwain (lead Vet). This is my first time trying this location and just my luck… Eden cut a part of my dog’s ear off and the entire staff from grooming, Banfield and the store manager Katie, all lied about it !!!!! First of all… Dr McSwain is supposed to be the “lead veterinarian” but somehow she couldn’t tell the difference between a cut ear and an uncut ear. How can you not tell and you’re a “lead veterinarian”?! I would hate to leave my animal in the hands of someone who can’t tell the difference. I got a second opinion from VEG, the emergency pet hospital on Roswell, and their team was able to determine it within seconds of analyzing his ear . Here is the back story…. I had schedul

Walked in for “no appointment necessary quick touch up” as advertised on website, at front door, and on huge sign in front of salon and groomer gave attitude asking “you don’t have an appointment? Who did you speak to? We’re not taking walk-ins”. RUDE AND RIDICULOUS. It’s advertised no appointment necessary everywhere you look.

Took my Goldendoodle puppy for a bath and full haircut. I felt him before and the lady at the desk felt him for mats/knots before I left, and stated that he was good. They called me saying he has some mats under his chin and I was trying to get my point across that I would like them to be removed if possible without shaving him. I ended up telling them that whatever they think should work. Only thinking that they would maybe shave underneath where the knots are. I guess that’s my fault for not fully clarifying because when I came back and saw him with his snout FULLY shaved. It was not blended into the rest of his long coat either. They said “yeah we went with a poodle cut!” Which is the OPPOSITE of what I wanted for him. I’m not sure if it’s a staffing issue or maybe lack of training but
