PetSmart Grooming

I don’t typically write reviews, but after my recent experience at the PetSmart grooming location, I feel compelled to warn other pet parents. I brought my dog in for a simple bath and brush appointment before heading to church in Stone Mountain. I informed the staff in advance that I would likely not be able to return within the 1–2 hour window, and was told by Nina that I had until 6:00 PM to pick up my dog. I fully intended to return sooner, but due to unforeseen circumstances—my mother taking my daughter grocery shopping—the return was delayed slightly beyond the 2-hour window. I’m new to the area and my GPS took me to another PetSmart. I called the groomer to let them know i accidentally went to another PetSmart and enroute to the correct one. My dog’s grooming appointment was at 1130 and I got there 1146. They would not take him. The fact that they have a 3-4 hour window where the dog will be with them but couldn’t just take my dog as if she was going to get started on him right away is ridiculous. That was my first and last time going there for grooming.

Jules is amazing! So kind and caring! Literally left with a different dog today that was happy and his cut was great! Jules had didn’t have it easy with my pup either, he was super knotted and hair was several months past due, and yet crushed the cut! Won’t be taking my dog to anyone else!

Yesterday I visited this location for a few items. There was a customer that stayed at the cash register telling her live story and the two cashiers allowed her to hold up the line like no one else was trying to check out. It was rude of the customer to be inconsiderate of others and unprofessional of the workers to allow it. My time is not everyone else's time. The cashier never apologized but asked how was I doing. I didn't answer but I had nothing nice to say at that point. This location is very so-so at times.

Stephen did amazing with our pup. Very patent and kind with him and we were in and out in less than 30 min. We are just visiting the area otherwise this would be my new spot!
