The woman that helped me was absolutely amazing so knowledgeable and friendly. I didn’t get her name, but I do know she runs the reptile section. Anyways she was lovely. Any business would be glad to have her as an associate.

Horrible experience today. My friend and I went in to view the animals, and while seeing the bearded dragons, we noticed very aggressive behavior. One dragon was biting the other one, not in a playful or normal manner. He was gnawing on the other’s foot, and when we brought it to the attention of the clerk at the front, we were greeted with VERY rude comments. We were simply concerned for the safety of the animal, (photo included.) The clerk said “They just do that. We have a bunch of dead fish too over there, there’s nothing we can do about it. Would you like to be bit?” We felt as if we were being belittled, I do not appreciate that tone whatsoever. I was a customer for at least 8 years at Petco location in saugus , always brought my dog for grooming there . But until few months ago . Since the manager give a hard time for trying to used my rewards that earned after grooming my dog 9 times the ten is free . Them the groomers were ignoring my appointment and even the phone calls when I was trying to book them . They are not professional unfortunately, such a big company was so unprofessional to deal with a customer service . Luckily I find a new place to bring my dog to grooming. And she doesn’t come back scare anymore. Makes me wonder if they were mean to my dog too .

THIS IS AN EDITED REVIEW I previously deleted a review that was 2 stars, and now I’m updating to 1. Updated Review: I stopped in the store to quickly grab pet food as I was on my way home. I checked to see if anything has been done since I left a review regarding the health and wellbeing of the animals, and was told in a response that if I have concerns, I need to bring it up to the store. Here’s the thing.. addressing the lack of care to the very store that’s refusing to do anything.. isn’t working. I would say the majority- not all as I have had a few nice employee interactions- of the staff here are AWFUL. They’re downright rude. This review is easy because the associate who rang us up was also named Sabrina. My first time seeing her at this location and she was great. So nice and even gave me samples for my cat. All these years shopping at Petco and I never received a sample. So happy. It’s the little things.
