I regret not getting to know PVS much sooner and entrusting them with the care of my dog. Donna at reception, the techs Maxine & Bri, Dr. Thomas & Dr. Aiton have all treated my dog with so much care and interest. I feel valued and respected. While I have not had to pay for any extensive imaging or any procedures or surgery, I don't feel taken advantage of when it comes time to pay my bill. I am happy when I pay my bill because I always find it reasonable and affordable. I always leave like they provided so much care and value and my dog received the care and answers he needed, every time. I trust PVS with my dog and I wish I had started much sooner. If I could give any pet owner advice; take care of their teeth sooner and more frequently!

We have been going to Penobscot Vet for almost 2 years now for routine care for our two dogs. The service (shout out to the fabulous ladies at the front desk) is always great!! However, two days before Christmas we were faced with the decision to put our older dog Birdie down and Michia and Dr. Miles blew me away. The tremendous sympathy, honesty and kindness they showed our family through that difficult day will never be forgotten. Thank you for your genuine and loving care of animals and your grace with their humans. We will never go anywhere else. ❤️❤️❤️

I moved the area and needed to find a new vet. So I took my Milo there, and they were so helpful in suggesting ways to help him continue to adjust to a new living environment.

After finding out this place takes small pets I scheduled an apt for my hedgehog Shadow. What I thought was going to be a quick nail trim turned out to be so much more. After further examination the vet discovered Shadow's lungs were congested so there was a change in plans for the appointment. For some people a little animal such as this one might not mean much but I was very impressed with the care that was shown towards Shadow, and because of this visit Shadow is getting much needed treatment!🦔

Ericka was so kind today, I called to ask about a Health Certificate for a service dog to cross into Canada and she really took the time to answer questions and really help me get travel plans squared away. Amazing Customer Service and thank you so much for helping us out!
