Honest, caring and knowledgeable vet. I've used them since Dr. Ritchie worked on my horses many many years ago. Candy and Sam are so kind. Both Dr Remington and Dr Olson are incredible. Your pet is and always will be in the best care with these folks.

Dr. Remington and her staff are incredible! Compasionate, caring, and professional. I have been taking my kitties here for many years (started with Dr. Richie, before he retired) and will continue, because I feel comfortable and safe bringing my pets and know they are going to get the best care possible!!

I love this place for ONLY Dr Remington but…. I honestly can’t understand how Dr. Olson is still employed here. During my dog’s appointment, we clearly explained that certain areas were sensitive, yet she forcefully inserted her fingers into my dog’s rectum, causing visible pain and distress. My dog panicked, jumped into my fiancé’s lap, and scratched her while trying to escape, also bumping her head on the wall. Instead of showing concern, Dr. Olson laughed at the situation. This was not only extremely unprofessional but also traumatizing for my dog. Since that visit, my dog now avoids any touch near her tail or rear, showing ongoing fear and anxiety directly caused by this appointment. I truly cannot say enough good things about Dr. Jessica Remington, DVM, at Bangor Veterinary Hospital. She is an absolute lifesaver. This past weekend, my puppy experienced paraphimosis — a very serious and urgent condition. In complete panic, I was able to reach Dr. Remington after hours, and without hesitation, she met me at the office at 8:30 p.m. on a Saturday night to help him. Her compassion, dedication, and genuine care for animals is beyond words. She treated my puppy promptly, kindly, and with such skill that I honestly don’t know what we would have done without her. Dr. Jessica Remington is a godsend for animals and their families. She went above and beyond in our time of need, and I will be forever grateful to her and Bangor Veterinary Hospital.

I have always brought all my animals to Dr. Ritchie, then to his daughter when she took over. Now since I did not bring my cat in last year for a vet check he didn't need they cut us off as customers and won't see him. I don't understand how they could just discontinue the account and say you can't bring your pet here. RUDE. Guess now I have to find a new vet.
