Paws and Relax

After searching for years to find a great groomer, I have finally found the perfect fit! Desiree is so kind, professional and truly cares about the comfort of her furry clients. My guy is pretty a pretty nervous pup, but he does great in the 1:1 environment! He is always so silky, soft and smiley after his time at Paws and Relax!

Desiree has vastly improved our Newfoundland Finn's quality of life. She is always his best advocate and has helped me work through his allergies over the course of several years. He looks the best he ever has! We also have a petite Bernese Mountain dog who is very shy. She had a hard former life as a puppy mill mama in Missouri. Desiree has been able to work with her on her confidence. And she does amazing sculpting work for Nora! I also foster, and Desiree has graciously accommodated a series of trainwrecks, every one of which had either a coat in despair, behavior issues, or both. She has great knowledge and experience and I would not trust my dogs with anyone else. It's a huge plus that there's no attached kennel with all the distractions that kind of thing entails. There are not enough stars for Desiree and Paws and Relax- the entire operation is exceptional! I brought my sable collie (long haired) in and Desiree had her work cut out for her (no pun intended). His fur was matted, and he needed a lot of help in the grooming department. Desiree was very transparent about the condition his fur was in, and what he she would need to do in order to get his coat back into the condition it should be. I appreciated her willingness and desire to educate, and also that she did not try and shame or guilt me- rather, she asked questions to help us both figure out how the circumstances arose. Desiree has taken care of our Great Pyrs since they were puppies. These dogs can be challenging but she’s never wavered. We are very greatful for the care she provides them. Taz (in the picture) and his sister Tuuka love Des like family.

Desiree loves on our dogs so much and takes good care of them when she does their grooming which is especially important since they are all senior dogs. Very clean and nice facility and your dog will have a great time with her!
