We took the Middle School class with our collie. The class was very helpful! It is important to do the homework and train your dog during the week and after the class has ended. Our dog loved coming to school here!! We learned a great deal and forged a better and deeper bond with our dog. Thanks team! I high recommend this place!!

I just started volunteering and plan to adopt soon. All the staff and volunteers work so hard for these animals. Even if you cannot adopt, just spending time with these animals is so beneficial, for you and for them. They do a great job teaching you everything you need to know before you volunteer. It is so rewarding spending time with these animals. I look forward to fostering or adopting my own soon

I got my sweet Basil from this shelter 5 years ago and she’s the best cat I’ve ever had. Volunteers do a wonderful job of socializing kittens.

I’ve been working with my Anatolian Shepherd Rollo for four years, since he was a puppy. He’s been awesome, really responsive, but he needed a little bit of work with distractions, especially other dogs. The “Adult Finishing School” was just the ticket. I got to work at keeping his attention focused on me, on us, while still being aware of other dogs. Rollo also got the extremely valuable experience of watching other dogs and their humans working together, which actually may have been the most important experience he had. Heather, the trainer, was wonderful. She clearly knows dogs well. She read Rollo very quickly, and tailored her instructions to his temperament. She was also very kind, gentle, and enthusiastic, which I think I are essential in working with canine companion dogs.

I reached out about getting cat supplies on a Friday I believe, and they immediately responded and once again over the weekend. By Monday, they had already set out a bag with cat food, two bowls, and some toys. The stray cat that showed up at my house has made it its home it’s already gained some weight and even leaves food in the bowl now, which it didn’t before. I’m terrified of cats, but it makes me happy to see it looking healthy and my kids are so excited! I really appreciate how quickly they helped!
