Mebane Veterinary Hospital

Even though my Lulu doesn't enjoy visiting the hospital, I can say that the people here are friendly and professional. They always smile and praise Lulu which helps to reduce her anxiety and they provide me various options available to me for treating my pet's conditions. They deserve 5 stars!

I’ve been bringing my cats to MVH since we moved to Mebane 2 years ago. They are amazing - everyone is so nice and they work really hard to fit you in asap. All of my cats have been treated by all of the vets except for the new director who replaced Dr. Brady when she retired several months ago. They all have been super collaborative with me, giving me choices and answering any and all questions I have (which is usually a lot since one of my cats has a chronic illness). I’ve never had a negative experience here, even when I had to say goodbye to one of our cats last year. They (both the vets and admin) handled him, his transition, and us with a lot of care and empathy. Super thankful for everyone at MVH

I really liked the vet when I took one of my cats for abscess but they really need to improve customer service with front desk staff. I called to get idea on price for spay of a new cat and they refuse to provide any ballpark cost and didn't offer any way forward but sorry we can't help you with that and good bye. Too bad because we are looking for a new vet for our 5 cats so they just lost a lot of business.

Long time patron, took our multiple pets here. It is a shame there has been a changes in the Vet providers. Two of the previous vets that were amazing either retired or left (Ann Brady and R. Kate Wilder). Would not recommend taking elder pets here after recent changes in Vet staff. The provider there now became a barrier to our beloved elderly family dog receiving continuation of medication taken routinely for palliative /comfort care. Encourage folks with older pets to seek vet care elsewhere that nurtures a more epithetic approach.

If you have an elderly pet or one with chronic health issues, please reconsider bringing them here. My senior dog had two seizures in 12 hours. When I called, I was promised a veterinary callback that never came. I had to call again myself, only to be met with rude, rushed receptionists who seemed irritated that I was even asking for help. I submitted Nova’s seizure log as requested and waited for the veterinarian’s call. When she finally contacted me, she was extremely short, dismissive, and offered zero empathy. I asked about getting a prescription for Nova’s seizure medication and was flatly told “no,” without any explanation or alternative options.
