Where do I even start with my experience with Ash? My dog, Lukas, is a rescue guy I have had for several years. I needed to get him used to being around other dogs. Or, more to the point, I had to get over my anxiety that Lukas would be fine with other dogs. I have learned to walk him, let him enjoy the outside and have him respond to commands. What I like most about Ash it is ALL about positive reinforcement. There are not buzz collars or prong collars or any punishment. Ash of PATH is an incredibly talented trainer who is patient, empathetic, kind, and intuitive! She is able to think outside the box and adapt to each individual dog's needs! One size does not fit all and she is able to create custom plans for each dog, working with the client and their personal goals for their canine companion. Before we started training with Ash walks were always stressful and occasionally ended in tears. I’ve tried other trainers before but no one was ever able to connect with my dog and understand him or bring out his personality beyond his anxiety. She has helped him learn to be a dog, he now sniffs on walks, rolls in the grass, and is able to walk past dogs across the street without going over threshold every time. He’s even made amazing progress in the pack walks and on 1-1 sessions with Takoda, her wonderfully patient dog. Ash is amazing. She really understands the dogs needs. Her education style really explains situations and why things need to be changed to stay the same. She has alot of resources for extended reading. It really is a team effort.
