Rick was super helpful as we picked the perfect leopard gecko for our daughter. He took time to show her a few different options, made sure we got everything we need to take care of our new pet, and gave us his number in case we have any questions. This isn't just a run of the mill shop, you can tell the owner really cares about the animals he sells and wants you to have the best experience owning one yourself. Great reminder why it's best to shop locally.

DON'T SHOP HERE. Horrible place for adopting exotic pets, especially reptiles and amphibians. I went into the store today with high expectations based on the positive reviews, but the state of living for the store's reptiles, especially the ball pythons, was traumatic. Owner is clearly not knowledgeable about reptiles and the basic needs of different species (they are all kept in the same substrate with the same decor, no humidity retention, and inadequate basking/lighting provisions). The snakes especially- the store has several branch decorations hanging from the ceiling by wire, with a ball python perched on each one, unsupervised and with no way down. Been a customer for several years. The owner is always helpful and informative. Our cockatiel's we bought are 4 yrs old and still healthy and happy. They helped us set up a fresh water tank. Its been looking great all the habitats are clean and well taken care of. We've never had a bad experience.

This place is so cool! Snakes hanging from the ceilings on pieces of wood, beautiful plants, amazing animals, and pristine tanks!

Absolutely my favorite place. I purchased my tarantula and 2 snakes from here, as well as their live food. Rick always takes the time to ask how they are and if I need anything for them. He always shares his knowledge and tips with me. I love walking around and interacting with all the critters he has. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking to buy a new pet or that may need some help and advice.
