Ocala Veterinary Hospital

I’ve had some wonderful veterinarians over the years, and recently a real stinker. I’m am so grateful I found Dr. Osborne and his staff. First class all the way. I know in my heart they have me and my pets’ best interest at heart from the moment I walk through those doors. I could not be more pleased with the staff, providers and the care my pets receive here.

I'd like to start off by saying that Dr. Spoon and the other staff are great! I had a very uncomfortable experience at this animal hospital, largely due to the behavior of the owner, Dr. Osborne. While I was there, I overheard him screaming at staff (on multiple occasions) and calling them incompetent. This created a tense and unprofessional atmosphere that was concerning as a client. During my interaction with him, he was dismissive and spoke to me in a condescending manner. He repeatedly asked if I would be “okay” coming in at 7:30 a.m., speaking to me as though I were a child rather than an 35 year old woman, capable of managing my own schedule. The tone felt extremely, patronizing. The following morning, I overheard him asking staff if I had actually arrived for my appointment and

I am SO very happy with my visit today. My little rescue girl developed an ear infection over the weekend, and her regular vet couldn’t get her in for 2 1/2 weeks! I was so pleased with Dr. Spoon who spent the time to get to know us well AND also see after my dog’s complete care. I have decided that we will be seeing Dr. Spoon at Ocala Veterinary Hospital from now on for my pet’s care. Dr. Ozborn also made a special effort to welcome us to his practice while we were there. The waiting room was very comfortable and their payment machines at checkout were working well. 🤗 The right medications were provided to help my girl. I so appreciated the practice’s welcome and concern for both of us. 🐾❤️

our fur babies had their annual visit and the whole staff did a fantastic job. very kind and thorough. the doctor explained everything and even said he would call to make sure our one dog did alright with his shots. Update: one of our boys had to have surgery on his ear and surgery went well but the cost did not match what we was told and was charged alot more than we where quoted. Charging a special credit card 2 different amounts. We are trying to work out with them to fix it.

The staff is amazing. I will always be grateful for Dr. Spoon, she took care of my Chloe till the very end. She was very compassionate and treated Chloe and I with a lot of care. The rest of the staff is great, amazing customer service skills and always treated me with kindness. Thank you Dr. Spoon and staff for everything. I will be taking my new fur baby to meet you guys.
