Neuse Veterinary Clinic

My family had to put our dog down the first week in December. The vet and staff were very supportive during this process. However, I would not suggest letting them send pets off for cremation. We've had other pets cremated and received a lock of hair or paw print with the ashes. The place that Neuse veterinary clinic use has no sympathy. They will dump your fur baby's ashes in a bag tied with a twist tie and then in a wooden box. No paw print or lock of hair. Would not suggest getting your pets cremated through them. Update: Called the vets office today and the receptionist was very rude. Told me that I should have checked the boxes on the cremation form. Those are services that is offered. I wasn't made aware of this while I was making the decision to put my dog down. Was also told that I

How can you perform surgery and offer follow up care or even an antibiotic. Seriously. Will never recommend. Horrible experience. Picture for attention.

My handsome cat Snickers was having an issue that greatly concerned me. I stopped by the clinic first thing in the morning with a video of his situation. The very kind staff listened to my concern, viewed the video, and then proceeded to work him in that day. I got him there, and Dr. Sheffield saw him. This was my first experience with her. She is awesome. She knew immediately what was wrong with Snickers, and treated him. Normally he is very scared at the vet, but with her he was calm. That said a lot to me. We discussed his problem, she told me what I needed to do to get him back on track. She did not rush it, she took her time. I was concerned after Dr. Knowles retired. I am no longer concerned. Dr. Fred is great with taking time to talk to you about your pets problem. Very reasonable in price and nice staff. Sadie really enjoys going to see them
