Dr Tanaka is the best! The insurance does cover a decent amount well visits blood work. Meds are always high in every vet office. They treat Kilo so sweetly. When Petco left shampoo on him it caused chemical burns. They were so amazing. I was so grateful that they calmed him as I was a mess. Definately reco them

We have the care plan and they are great. It saved us a couple thousand when my puppy got hurt thankfully. And we have been going there since then. They had an English bully specialist and with how well they do with the dogs and my cats it’s definitely worth the drive to Holtsville. I do have another Vca literally right around the corner but we find it is worth the drive because of the staff across the board. The wonderful ladies who do the desk are great. I have only met one cranky one and honestly for statistics that is really a great one in the whole office of everyone we met 99.99% are always smiling and kind it’s definitely worth it for us to keep driving the 30-40 minutes. My English hates her nails done but she behaves best for them too!

I brought my kitten Miso here a few times because she was having gastrointestinal issues and I was worried. Everyone that we encountered was wonderful and helpful, and she’s doing much better now. I appreciated that all possibilities and options were explained to me at each visit, as it helped me make informed decisions about her care. The staff was mindful of the waiting room and let us return to an exam room where it was quieter to wait for results. She particularly bonded with Kelsey! Thank you all :-)

I haven’t been able to write a review but now that some time has passed I feel like this VCA location deserves to know how grateful I am for their kindness and compassion when I showed up with my 15 yr old chihuahua experiencing a stroke. All I can say is the staff were beyond empathetic and honest, did not try to torture my dog with unnecessary testing, and gently advised me of the unfortunate options which meant having to choose between giving my dog a painless journey over the rainbow bridge - or have my dog experience a poor quality of life while trying to remedy her deterioration. It was of course the worst decision any owner could make, but they allowed me to ask as many questions as I wanted. They allowed me to make phone calls and seek second opinions in real time all while keeping

We always schedule our pet's appts to see Dr Chow. He is very friendly, warm, engaging and attentive. Always devotes his attention to our pet despite minor interruptions. He exhibits genuine concern when we inform him about any issues with our pet. The people at the front desk always greets us with a friendly smile and a warm welcome.
