I was a client at this clinic for a few years and i always appreciated the care my dog received, but I had a very disappointing experience regarding billing. At my dog’s annual visit, I agreed to a flu shot that was recommended by the vet. I was not informed that returning for the required booster shot would result in a second FULL exam fee, even though my dog was not examined by the veterinarian at that visit. When I received the bill, I was surprised to see an additional exam charge that hadn’t been disclosed. I tried to resolve the issue directly with the office, but instead of addressing it reasonably, they were defensive and eventually sent the disputed charge to collections without further notice. i informed them that charging a second exam fee of an additional 90 dollars for a FOLLO

I have nothing but appreciation and trust in this place. I can not tell you how many times the veterinarian has took us in last minute and made sure we get our babies treatment ! One of my cats is very territorial and doesn’t like strangers at all so when I come here I know it’s going to be a show haha but Dr. Mian is always to the rescue even with her craziness. I genuinely do feel safe and comfortable when I come here. I get nothing but great treatment from Sherri, who can sure calm you down and make you laugh haha and Dr. Mian, who says it like it is and doesn’t sugar coat things, which I do appreciate! As far as prices go, I don’t find it to expensive. Honestly depends on what you have to get done. I can’t and won’t compare to other places because I have never been anywhere else ! Ps.

I've got an elderly Yorkie with a bundle of health problems. I took him to Merrimack Animal Hospital this morning for numerous procedures. He is in much better shape tonight after Dr Mian and Sherry's work on that wiggly woof. Have been using M.A.H. for decades.

Sherry is the best receptionist ever. I hate to leave less than a 5 star review because overall, they are fantastic if you just need a regular checkup and yearly/monthly meds. Yes they are expensive compared to others but they will keep track of your animal and their shots and that is great! “Hospital” is definitely a stretch - if your animal needs urgent care, do not take them here. Even if it’s a small issue that is irregular, do not take them here. I was concerned about a growth near my dog’s anal glands, thinking maybe that was the issue. Nope. It was a cyst that needed to be drained. The Dr dame into the room and asked me to hold my own dog, while the assistant (which I believe was Sherry) instructed me how to properly lift her leg to get the best angle. My husband and I are so happy with the care our pets have received. Recently had to put our old beautiful Basset Willy down. And the whole experience was peaceful and were able to stay with Willy the whole time. Dr Mian and Sherry are absolutely the best!!! Love the small town feel .
