PSA: Angels work Here! After my neighbor passed away unexpectedly, I took responsibility for caring for her cat, Liyla, who was found severely malnourished. I brought her in immediately because I was deeply concerned about her weight and the condition of her coat, which was badly matted. Dr. V and her entire team are truly exceptional. Dr. V was honest and compassionate when explaining Liyla’s condition, which I greatly appreciated. I didn’t want to give up on Liyla, but I also didn’t want to prolong her suffering if it was her time. Dr. V let me know there was still hope if we were willing to fight and I absolutely was. Growing up my family had always brought our pets to Linwood, so when it was my chance I did the same. In the last couple of years I have moved to Maine, and kept bringing my Pickles here. As she got older and medical issues started, everyone at linwood was so helpful, knowledgable and caring. The amount of times they sat on the phone with me explaining things in detail and answering any and all questions I had, was amazing. They were always extremely flexible in knowing I had a commute or when a family member brought Pickles for her check up. Pickles just had a check up for some uncharacteristic behavior and breathing issues, that resulted in her crossing over the rainbow bridge. Dr. V is highly knowledgeable. Her communication is honest and informative. She was available to answer all of our questions and was very supportive. We are thankful that our cat is in her care.

I love that the receptionists, nurses, and doctors all know me and my cats by name now. They're so sweet and patient and considerate with my cats. They were able to get both of them in separately on a short notice one morning so I didn't have to bring them to an emergency vet. We've been with this vet for 4 years now, and I would 100% recommend them.
