My pups have been going here since they were 8 weeks and 10 months old. They're now 7 and 9. Husband and I are always greeted with smiles and the vets are compassionate.

Lifesavers!! My kitty somehow scraped her external surgical glue off with her conehead after being spayed, and they promptly took her in when the original vet could not. I am forever grateful to the wonderful staff there! ❤️ she is now recovered and I cannot express the gratitude i have for the recommendation of getting her a surgical suit to give her an extra level of protection.

We have been coming here for nearly 12 years. The staff at McDonough Animal Hospital take amazing care of our babies. They have cared for us through metabolic disease, IVVD and all the normal things that pet parents (of Frenchies) do to take care of their babies. I cannot speak highly enough of their care and empathy. Lira, Prince, Tank and Pesos are lucky to have such good vet care.

I took my dog Shelby to McDonough Animal Hospital for his annual check-up, and we had such a great experience! 🐾 He’s getting so much better about being in public, and the team here really helped make the visit smooth. Everyone we interacted with was warm, friendly, and so good at helping Shelby feel comfortable—which isn’t always easy with a strong-willed pup who likes to show the big dogs who’s boss. 😅 They took great care of him, and I really appreciate the kind way they handle both pets and their humans. The only thing Shelby didn’t love was finding out he needs to lose 7 pounds. 😳 Highly recommend this vet if you’re looking for a place where your dog will feel welcome and cared for.

Our cat Peaches was attacked by a dog and needed a laceration repair. Everything was reasonably priced and they got her in very quickly! All the doctors there are intelligent, compassionate, and have always provided the best care to our fur babies. Bonus points to them for dressing her in the cutest body suit to protect her drain tubes while she heals!
