MatchDog Rescue

Matchdog rescue is certainly a Great Nonprofit! Our recent adoption was made easy and comfortable throughout the process. The volunteer teams of rescuers take pairing the dogs with their perfect match seriously. We are so grateful for the depth of love and care given to these dogs as they are received and fostered. We were very appreciative of the personal note given to us with our starter pack from the foster family. Our sweet boy, ”Ollie” formerly, “Gunner”, had enriched our lives immensely in such a short time! He adores people and is aways eager to make a new friend! He’s perfect for us and we are so grateful to have connected with Matchdog rescue for our adoption!

Match dog rescue found me the best baby boy from Texas. He’s the cutest sweetest most lovable baby I’ve ever met. Everyone that works. There is absolutely amazing.! They’re loving, caring and just doing their very best to find these precious babies at home. Please rescue one of their babies or donate to help. Keep their business going strong. I had an amazing experience getting my fur baby through Match Dog. I was really close to giving up on getting a rescue pup, as the process can be so difficult. However, Match Dog was so professional and well organized. I was really impressed with the passion of the volunteers, and how quickly they find homes for the rescues. I can’t imagine my life without my baby Onyx “Asta”. I’m so grateful to this organization and I will be referring everyone here 💕

We rescued our dog Reggie back in Jan 2024. We selected him off of petfinder and were approved within two days through MatchDog. They do a thorough check with vet/references to make sure the dogs are going to an appropriate home, which shows how much they care. Some info provided about our dog was spot on and some not so much. You have to keep in mind some of these dogs have been through a lot. You must be patient and put in the work to help your dog become the best they can be. We had to pick our dog up right as the van was arriving from down South. This process was very organized, but still took hours of waiting in the parking lot. My family adopted our puppies through MatchDog Rescue (January 2025). I found their profiles on Petfinder. The dogs' descriptions were helpful to understand the dogs demeanor. I appreciated that the dogs are socialized and cared for in TX a month or more before transporting to NJ. They went through so much and it's great they can rest and recover before the adoption process. My pups were shy but quickly settled in to our home. The volunteers are amazing. Everyone I encountered was pleasant, helpful, and committed to giving their rescues a safe and happy home. I felt supported the whole way. Thank you for doing what you do!
