Maika'i Veterinary Clinic, LLC

I can’t say enough good things about Maika’i Veterinary Clinic. The first time I brought my dog (Kai - Mistress of Tranquil Blue Water) here it was an emergency and I’d just moved to Hawai’i (literally less than a week) and they saved her life. With the amount of trouble my dog gets into, they see her fairly regularly. They have been taking great care of her ever since that first emergency and even though there’s closer vets I still bring her back to Maika’i.

We had an urgent that could have turned into an emergency. These folks here got us in when we needed them. Dr. Mina sat with me and explained what was going on. We got on some medication that seemed to help almost right away. So that gave me peace of mind. Our check up 2 weeks later. They called us in right on time. We had 2 tech's helping us, the lady in the lab and then Dr. I seen everyone working together as a team. We are on the road to recovery. I feel comfortable finally. Thank you all from the front desk to the end of our visit! You're awesome. Update My girl is 89% better. Her skin is all healed and no more uti. Again they have been great.

I really like the other doctor but Dr. Mina and I have a lasting relationship. He helped me alot so it's hard to out do that. This time it was good the medication they gave us worked but it must taste so bad as she foams at the mouth everytime administer it. All normal just wish there was a better way. Overall satisfied and they got me into the office in a timely manner and I felt safe leaving my baby with them. CAT with a UTI.

We could never say enough good things about Makai vet. We have been going to Dr Mina for 20 years now. I'm always impressed by the quality of his work,and his staff talking care of our pets. Dr Mina not only is good with animals, but is a nice and kind person! We're forever grateful. Mahalo for all you have done and do for the animals!

Dr Mina and his staff are the best of the best, that’s why we went back after moving back home from the mainland. Dr Mina is very straightforward and if you don’t like straightforward then he’s not for you, we appreciate his straightforward approach no messy explanations makes it easier to make decisions. Thank you Dr Mina for all you do for our pet(s) you are appreciated very much.
