Aloha Veterinary Center

My dog was sick and my regular vet was closed, but Aloha got us in and got my furbaby on the road to recovery. Thank goodness they are open on Sundays!! Everyone who works at Aloha Vet is super friendly and helpful, and you can even text the main phone number. My only real complaint is that you have to pay BEFORE services. So if your pet needs more than what is expected at check-in, then you have to pay more than once. It’s not a huge deal, just annoying. I also totally understand why… especially for a new or emergency patient. But overall, very pleased with our experience there. If I could give 4.5 stars, that would be more accurate.

I have had the pleasure of being a client of Malia Lyons for 14 years. While still at her previous employment Dr.Lyons assisted, supported and compassionately cared for my soul dog Guardian. Dr. Lyons was straightforward throughout his entire battle till the day he took his last breath in my arms. I transferred to Aloha Vet upon hearing Dr. Lyons was moving there. Aloha Vet has shown my family nothing but utmost respect, support and compassion from their receptionists, vet techs, pharmacists, specialist and Veterinarians. The care they have shown to my babies has been absolutely amazing. I’m grateful for the team at Aloha Vet and the care they shown my babies. Thank you so very much Aloha Vet for your wonderful services.

Dr. Matsumoto and all the staff at Aloha Vet are amazing, compassionate and always there to help us. Extra shout-out to the very kind worker named Sterling who talked me through a crisis. I wouldn't trust my pets with any other veterinary center.

I tried to get my cat looked at here and she got a couple of shots so she would be ready to fly. I planned everything out she went to her first appointment where I was told she had gotten the correct vaccinations then 3 days before the flight when I went to pick up the same paperwork they said she didn’t the ones she needed now all that planning and reservations costs for the flight and everything are gone and I still have no clue how I’m gonna get my cat here but it will not be through them.

We switched to Aloha after having 5-6 horrible experiences at Big Island Pet Care Center. I'm so glad we switched, Aloha is amazing, responsive, honest and timely. Highly recommended. I really appreciate that I can text them and get a response, plus they have emergency services on the weekends.
