Staff was super nice! I stopped in to give my 3 year old a good dog experience because she loves visiting humane societies. They had all the dogs tucked away for site cleaning, but the staff wasn’t going to let us leave empty-handed. They pulled a super sweet adult pitbull out for my daughter play with. My daughter loved it! We even got to play peek-a-boo with another dog on the way to the car

So glad you keep all the stray dogs from coming upon my property.. 41999.. those dogs keep trying to eat my service dog!. Thank God you are trying to help the homeless and not taking care of theones who actually own their property..gf

Went to get a dog. After choosing I noticed he had a mass on his neck. I inquired how it works now? I want this dog but fear something could be VERY wrong with him. The deputy called someone & then said they'd cover the cost. I asked if I could get a discount or transfer the original funds for a different dog; just in case he wasn't ok? Can I foster & adopt after vet visit? The deputy looked at me like I was an idiot and said 'if you want the dog you need to pay & take him today'. You can bring him back within 10 days for $40 credit. Much of the problem was the deputies tone. I brought him home, there is a huge whole under his ear. His ear full of dried & fresh blood. The mass is drained & we're bonding. Looking through the paperwork for my dog I noticed he'd been on antibiotics & stero

I had an amazing experience here. The Men and Women are all professional and absolutely love all of the doggies. I do think it's sad that people complain about the prices, when in actuality, LCSO charges a fraction of the cost that a regular Veterinarian would charge. The entitlement is outrageous. That said, I fully support the LCSO Animal Control. Thank you for all that you do :)

I just moved to Albany and needed to get my dog microchiped (costs $20) and registered (can cost anywhere from $10-$15). The officers helping me were so amazing! Very sweet, kind, and respectful. They loved my dog and treated her with a lot of care and affection.
