Help Save Pets

I had the same experience as many of you. I was denied a kitten because my nine year old well loved and cared for cat hadn’t had his shots. He is an indoor cat and I didn’t know it was required. He is a diabetic and goes to my vet frequently . I’ve spent hundreds for his care because I love him and he is a member of my family . The shelter insinuated I didn’t care for my cat! They could have explained in a much nicer way why I was denied . Now my baby has had his shots and I’m all set to add to my family !

Adopting to give a animal a home from a shelter shouldnt be harder than buying from a backyard breeder. They wonder why shelters are saturated and animals get put down. Your restrictions are over the top and Unnecessary. I was willing to adopt this time around, but was denied. So i went to a breeder near me and paid for a dog i wanted.

If I could rate 0 stars, I would. When I walked into the office, i met this extremely sweet & playful kitten. I notified the workers there that I have a cat at home who is 16 years old. After my family & I fell in love with this kitten, they told me that I need proof that I vaccined my current cat every single year.... WHO vaccinates their cats and spends thousands of dollars on them every single year? They ALSO told me that they need proof that my DEAD CAT was vaccinated every year as well. It is astonishing to me that I am required to vaccinate my cats every single year when they both were/are indoor cats. Why would I need to vaccinate my cats for rabies when they never stepped foot outside???? Absolutely ridiculous. I take care of my cats, which is why my cat died from old age at 19 yea

I would never use the shelter. They should be closed down for the sake of the dogs. I was denied adoption because I simply have a job and go to work. I was having someone come in midday to check on the dog and let her out but that is not good enough for this shelter. I also found out that the shelter does not tell the truth in the synopsis that they post about the dogs. The dog I was interested in was already adopted twice and returned yet they fail to disclose that information. Please don't go here.

I am so happy to see a shelter that won't adopt animals to people who aren't committed to keeping the animal healthy and well. Almost all of the negative reviews for this shelter are from people who the shelter refused to adopt to because the people had shown they would not properly care for the pet. Let the cats out to play? Have you ever seen a pet cat that was killed by wild animals in the neighborhood? It is not a pretty sight. Don't want to neuter a male animal because it can't have puppies? Biology lessons tell us it takes two - male and female - to reproduce. Those unneutered males contribute to pet over population. It is too expensive to give vaccinations or your pet in an indoor animal? The pet could run away or be exposed to something in the waiting room at the vet. Som
