Haile Plantation Animal Clinic

I highly recommend Haile Plantation Animal Clinic. The veterinarians, techs and staff have all been wonderful and accommodating and they treat my two girls so well. Their prices are reasonable and they don't try to push unnecessary services on us. Look at the pictures from my girl from August 21, 2025 - just so excited to be there. She loved everyone there. I read through some of the non-five star reviews for context and here are my thoughts -- Most of the negative reviews praise the clinic or the veterinarians, but point out that some of the staff could be more sensitive, especially during emotionally sensitive times for the pet owners. The people at the Haile vet clinic are caring and passionate about what they do. Dr. McCullough has been wonderful, especially with my old girl who has issues with her hips and teeth and all the other things that old dogs have ;) She takes the time to talk to me about my dog's overall health and about specific issues and treatments. I trust them with both of my girls completely.

My family has been coming here for over 15 years, and after today we will be finding a new vet. It has always been expensive to come here, but we wanted nothing but the best for our four legged family members. Today we said good bye to our beloved Hercules. My family had an appointment for 5:00pm today. My fiancé and I arrived a few minutes early to ask about parking close to an exit so we could carry our sweet boy out to the truck. I just wanted to write a message and let everybody know how thankful I am for the garden of love memorial park in Micanopy. although I no longer live in Gainesville in 2003, I buried my first pet Sheena there she was that once in a lifetime dog a Rottweiler. 22 years later she is still the “password child” Over the next two decades, we buried for more animals there a Rottweiler named Sierra a Rottweiler named Gage and Akita named Jedi and Akita named Nikita. My cat juice is also buried somewhere there in the general garden. Every time I come back to Gainesville, I stop by. I stoped by today and I was just so thankful to have such a special place. I have been taking my two cats, Kami and Kaze to Haile Plantation Animal Clinic for over 10 years now. This review is long overdue, and unfortunately prompted by sad circumstances. Kami had not been eating/drinking, and when I called the clinic, they were able to get me an appointment the same day. When I took her in, Ashley was very kind in hearing my concerns and taking Kami for some vitals. After bringing her back, she let me know Kami wasn't looking too great and they took some blood for testing. Dr. McCullough came in shortly afterwards and ran me through what was going on, and what the next steps were.
