GSVS Veterinary Emergency Care East Brunswick

We noticed my cats mouth all wet, swollen face, not acting herself at all, we decided to take her here. They didn’t even open her mouth (made no sense as this was clearly what was bothering her). Said that she wouldn’t let them get into her mouth (of course not, poor cat is in pain, fight or flight mode - she only has 4 teeth and is not an aggressive cat by any means). They told us she either had a tooth infection or mouth cancer (that’s a pretty significant difference). They gave her a shot in case it was an infection and told us to see a regular vet Monday.. The next day, our cat was still the same, not right, not herself. We decided it couldn’t wait until Monday and we needed to get her some relief. We took her to East Brunswick Animal Hospital where they were able to wrap her and look

Just had a great visit for an unfortunate reason. My pup was having blood in her urine. So I stopped in to get her checked out. All the staff was super friendly and caring. No bad attitudes just people who care about making your pet feel better. I don't remember there names (shame on me) but they all deserve the praise. I was in and out with a treatment plan in less than 30 minutes. Granted I probably went during non-peak hours but either way I didn't feel like there was much if any aimless waiting. Very reasonable pricing for Emergency Vet services. Either way I'd pay happily to make sure my pet is being taken care of but it just made it that much more impactful because the people working at this facility are helpful and welcoming during a negative time.

There’s not enough words to say how grateful my family is for the staff, doctors and all involved as they saved my babies life. My dog was diagnosed with a heart murmur a few years ago and for years, we were blessed that there was no change. We were incredibly lucky that it went down like that. Then in September the dreaded change happened and our baby was given meds to help. Very quickly he almost took a turn for the worst and he had a synchopy episode (fainting episode and possible heart failure). We were terrified and rushed him to this establishment and the dr. Knew exactly what to do and helped him right away. They knew immediately how to help him and there’s no question they saved his life that night. I had to bring my dog Rocky in March 2025, 2 days before my mom passed and the staff and doctor were straight up and compassionate. We let him go because the doctor explained the situation to us. Now my other dog has severe pain, 15 year old beagle Roscoe that cries almost every night and cannot see, hear and hold his bowels. Is not eating or thriving. No quality of life. We are on our way to see what they say but I feel guilty. I know they will be honest and will let us know what needs to be done.

We had such a great experience here! The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, and they made us feel right at ease. They got us in quickly and took such good care of our dog without any stress. The whole office is super clean and comfortable. You can really tell they love what they do and care about both pets and their people.
