We just just adopted a beautiful Chihuahua French Bulldog mix named Rory through ARF. Susan was just amazing through the entire adoption process! We have our dream dog and love him with all our hearts. He is bonded to us already. We are truly blessed! Thank you Susan and all staff members! ❤️🐾

I'll admit it, when I first saw that my puppy on Petfinder was sponsored by ARF, I was a bit put off by the small number of reviews - and the fact that they had a middling average score. I was skeptical but I fell in love with my pup and wanted to give them a chance... And my experience was absolutely LOVELY!!!! It's important to note that the woman you'll probably correspond with, Susan, is self-admitted to not being much of a tech savvy woman, being an elderly woman. She can come off as short and blunt in her emails - but the second you meet her any fears of her being cold or rude will melt away, as she quickly turned out to be an utterly loving and caring woman who truly cares for the animals ARF takes in, and who personally fosters them in her modest home. I did not like the attitude of the employee that worked there. I asked for a list of the animal shelters since they did not have any kittens just cats. The employee got the list but was not happy that I did not want one of their cats. Plus the charge $150 for a cat when the animal shelter charged $95. A major savings, which I used for my kitten supplies

Reached out about adopting a cat and was told I live too far away and they only wanted to adopt locally. I only live an hour away and own a car and the drive is absolutely no big deal whatsoever and told them this but still told me the same response. Why list on petfinder if you want to only have someone adopt in the same city?

I called asking about adopting a dog which I saw online was available and on instagram it said he was adopted. When I spoke to the woman who answered the phone she couldn't tell me what dogs they had and said look online. When I told her I did and was confused she gave me an extramly rude attitude and told me "well I know all the dogs we have and the information your telling me is incorrect, that dog wasn't adopted"..... ummm so which is it ? Clearly not interested in having their animals adopted...
