The people there are very professional, good at their job, and kind. I like that they always take the time to talk to me about my dog. And just ask about me as a person. It's also reasonably priced. They were able to handle my yodelling husky, so they have dog handling skills.

Great place! We stopped during a recent road trip to have a tick removed from our Golden Retriever. The staff were friendly and efficient. The vet even came out to show us that he had been able to remove that he entire tick. And the service was free of charge! If we lived in the area we would definitely come back here for care for our dog. Thank you!

Great quality. They really took care of the kitten I found. However, I find some of their practices questionable. They had you sign your full name next to a procedure you DO NOT WANT during the time your cat will get fixed. It should be opt-in, not opt-out, and why your full signature? Seems like a psychological attempt to get you to do the procedure. I don't like it at all. They just seem like they nickle and dime you, like they did selling me the cone that was kind of unnecessary.

We have used Gainesville Animal Hospital for almost 30 years, following disappointing experiences at two other local veterinary practices when we were new to Gainesville. They have seen us through regular shots and procedures and through tragedy. They have always been compassionate and treated our cats as if they were their own. They are honest about when something can or cannot be remedied and have referred us to the vet school when needful. Best of all, they have seen us through the lives of several cats that died of old age. We are very happy to have them to care for our animals.

COVID-safe and very focused on animal health and comfort.. honestly the kindest veterinarians ive dealt with in a long time and very understanding and knowledgeable. my cat is v lucky to have them taking care of him!
