Irene and team are the ✨BEST✨ cat groomers in the area. Our cat Benny, a British longhair prone to matting, has an anxious and (at times) aggressive demeanor when it comes to getting groomed - but Fur Cat’s Sake’s calm approach was a perfect fit for him. They are gentle, loving, thoughtful and extremely knowledgeable. I’m so incredibly thankful that we found them!

Irene has a really special touch! She is clearly extremely caring, skilled & kind. Luigi, my shy little guy knew he was in good hands from the second he met her. Highly recommend for services& the space itself is absolutely gorgeous. Legit Spa setting inside, calming & beautiful room design. Great retail space too, perfect for gift shopping for any cat lover you may know.

Irene is the best. She handles the challenges of my very furry Siberian over these many years. I can (almost) say Yana jumps into her carrier when I tell her we are going to see Irene.

I have nothing by the highest praise for Irene and her team at Fur Cat's Sake. The atmosphere is so calming for cats and the grooming process is done with patience and gentleness. Both times we went to Irene for our Siberan kitty, she took incredible care of her and paid close attention to details, beyond the aesthetics and including our pet's overall health and wellbeing. At our most recent visit, Irene noticed a drop in our cat's weight and encouraged us to bring her in to the vet to check on that. Had we not gone to the vet the next day, we would not have known our cat was experiencing sudden, acute kidney failure or been able to make her last days with us more comfortable. 100% will never go to anyone else for Gizmo’s grooming aka his SPA DAY because that’s how Irene and her team treat him. Before I moved to Marin, I would Uber back and forth from SF just to come to Fur Cats Sake because it was worth every dime. The spa is clean, relaxing and only caters to cats. I love hanging out here myself! Irene is also extremely knowledgeable, kind and really goes the extra mile for all of her clients. Gizmo and I would be absolutely amiss without her.
