Best cat vet in Frederick. Dr. Karg is so thorough, patient, caring and honest! My three cats love him! The staff is also very awesome!!

Our new kittens LOVE Frederick Cat Vet! Great staff greets you when you arrive. Morgan was so good with our guys during her initial exam and when Dr. Karg was examining them. They definitely know how to make cats (and owners) feel comfortable.

Just got my cat home from his visit at Frederick Cat Vet. I just adopted him and was worried about the staffs safety bringing him in as it was recorded that he gets a little spicy at the vet. Everyone there was amazing! No spicy behavior from him, in fact he started purring during his exam. They were compassionate and did several things to help my cat stay calm. They gave me great advice on how to help some of the issues he’s been dealing with and have a good plan in place to help him improve his health. As an owner, the vet talked to me in ways that was very clear to understand, without coming off as condescending. She was wonderful working with. He's very compassionate and gentle with our cats and still gave our cats good quality care. None of them were frightened to be there. In the past, our youngest cat has gotten so frightened he pulled his own fur out. That didn't happen here at cat vet. I'm looking forward to bringing Sylvester, Kelly and Jack to Frederick Cat Vet for many more years!

I have been bringing my kitty here for the past two years and I have to say, this is the best vet I have ever been to. My cat hates going to the vet and is very spicy with the staff; previously, he hardly got full exams and shots were always difficult. At Frederick Cat Vet, we have been able to have very successful visits (sedation is key) and I always walk away feeling great about the visit as a whole. The receptionists and assistants are so friendly and helpful and you can tell the doctors really care about their patients and want to make every visit as stress free as possible. Today, we were seen by Dr. Karg and he was the absolute best! He carefully combed through my kitty’s history and current symptoms and offered very helpful advice for things to do at home to keep him happy and heal
