We see Dr. Shell and she has been amazing with our pet family. The staff has always been kind, compassionate and understanding. Dr. Shell takes the time to explain things, not try to push anything and helps in decision making, as we have a dog who has seizures from epilepsy. We wouldn't go anywhere else. We truly trust, love, and respect this practice. Thank you and the team.

I have been with Compassion since we adopted our first dog , Ginger, 10 years ago. Since then, we adopted a 2nd, Millie, who vibed like a chill old drunken sailor. There have been many calls/texts, sick visits, medications, and consultations within that time and I can honestly say every single contact has been nothing but top notch expertise and family friendly service from everyone there. We had to put Millie down this past November, and as expected the staff were so kind, gentle and accommodating. Keep up the great work. Ginger says namaste (she’s all yoga vibe 😊)

We can’t thank Compassion enough for their outstanding love and support during one of the worst days of our lives. We had to say goodbye to our Doberman this week due to CHF and I just want to express how amazing their care was during this extremely difficult time was for us. Not once did I feel rushed even though I knew they stayed later after closing just for us.. they cancelled family plans and delayed school pick ups just to help us during this event. A terrible day spent with people/professionals I can whole heartedly trust my fur babies with. I highly recommend you come here no matter what stage your pets are in. We take our three cats to Compassion in Urbana. We've been for all kinds of appts and find their pricing to be reasonable and their staff to be the best! I never feel like our cats are second class to dogs. We've had nothing but positive experiences. The office is responsive, our questions are always answered and the appointments never feel rushed. We feel so lucky to have found them when we moved to the area.
