This place is exactly what a great local pet store should be. The moment you walk in, you can tell the difference between a business that truly cares about animals and customers and the typical big-box pet store experience. The staff here is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. They take the time to answer questions and make sure people are getting what they actually need rather than just trying to make a quick sale. It’s refreshing to see people who genuinely care about the animals they’re selling and the customers they’re helping. The store itself is clean, well organized, and the animals are clearly well cared for. Prices are also very reasonable, which is something that’s getting harder to find these days. Honestly, corporate chain pet stores couldn’t hold

I have had nothing but great interactions, advice, and experiences shopping here. I dove into freshwater colonies and aquascaping over the holidays, and the team is knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely cares that the animals receive good care long after departing the store. Chris and his family have done an excellent job bringing education, rescue, and hobbyist aupport to the community.

Beautiful care for their animals. Proper setup enclosures with QR codes for proper care. Such a diverse section of reptiles -> bugs -> fish -> birds -> mammals. Was able to get a feel for holding a giant african millipede and the girl that stood with me was so full of information and she was so encouraging for holding him. She took pictures too :) Sanatized before and after and loved the entire experience. Best reptile store ive been to in a hot minute. 10/10

This place and the employees are amazing! It's way more than a pet store, but more of an experience, imo. I first stopped in a couple times with my 7 year old son to check out the new place. We ended up spending over an hour checking out the animals and creatures with a ton of education from the staff. Many knowledgeable employees are eager to answer questions and bring out animals to handle and educate you. After multiple trips we purchased a starter kit and 2 young rats. I've stopped multiple times since to get all my questions answered (thank you, Megan!) and never had to wait to be greeted. I decided to stop at a large local box store to check out items they may have and couldn't find an employees anywhere, other than the ones running the register.. This is now my go to shop for my new
