Farrington Kennels

Worst experience with Farrington Kennels. Left a message 7 weeks in advance that I needed to board my 2 dogs. I have been a client on/off for a few years and have ALWAYS left a voice message for a reservation. They DO NOT answer their phone and WILL NOT call you back to confirm. Went to drop my dogs off and a very nasty elderly man said “we’re closed”. It was Columbus Day…no one at their facility had an ounce of courtesy to call and let me know they would be closed so I could make other arrangements. They take no responsibility for the lack of communication and said it was my responsibility to keep calling them until THEY answered. Guess I know why their rates are low ….only way to keep clients cause it certainly isn’t their customer service.

I've boarded here a few times and they're ok. I did have one problem, just like one of the previous reviews had with the dog beds being saturated with urine when I picked them up and and my dogs smelled like urine too. I chose to overlook it because my dogs do fine there and the prices are reasonable. I also have had one of my dogs groomed there before and the groomer they have does a good job. But today was different. I made an appointment over 3 weeks ago to have my dog groomed again and I was told to get there between 8am and 8:30 which I did. When I showed up the woman, don't know her name, acted surprised and said that they'll try and fit her in hopefully before noon when they close for two hours, if not it might be 2pm. I wasn't happy that my dog would have to be in a kennel that lon

1st time boarding our 2 dogs. Staff is friendly and dogs overall did well. Very reasonable rates. Just wish they allow weekend dropouts and pickups. Also extending hours past 6pm will be great.

Beware this facility has KENNEL COUGH. I understand it happens in kennels, but they refuse to take any responsibility for my dog (yorkie) being so sick. Farrington was the only place he had been to have caught this. I have called and spoke with Tonya, the manager or owner of the facility, her compassion was minimal considering i told her my concerns. My little dog was and is so sick over 2 weeks now. I thought he had pneumonia as he was whizzing so much but think goodness his lungs were clear to the tune of an $800 emergency vet bill. This is the first time I have had to "kennel" my dog and I assure you it will be the last. Now I know why their prices are so low. Furthermore, when I picked up my dog after his 4 days stay - he was full of urine. My dog ordinarily doesn't peed on h

Love this place! My dogs love staying there and they offer grooming after their stays. Only challenge is they don't take drop offs on Sat and Sunday so it's always a full weekend commitment even if you only need one night. Other than that, I would highly recommend it to any dog and cat lover🥰.
