Exotic Vet Care

The most thorough vet I’ve found for my Quaker parrot, Snickers. I am beyond impressed and have told everyone I can about this practice. Everyone was kind and informative. They reviewed his bloodwork immediately and made supplements to go home with in house. I wish I had found them sooner as we live in Myrtle Beach and traveled over 2 hrs for the appt. This will be our new yet. Worth the drive if you live farther away :)

Honestly, shame on me for not making a review sooner. This spectacular team worked with me on a brand new rescue/surrender that I accepted from someone. They worked with my schedule, they worked with my budget, and they helped me take a female chameleon from egg-bound with multiple fractures, an eye infection, scale rot, and an inability to use her tongue to the healthy, spiteful little gal she is today. I normally only rehab snakes, and have worked with very few lizards, but this team made sure that I was comfortable and confident caring for Roz at home post-operatively. Guys, as a vet tech at a general practice, let me please relate to you that vet care is not always cheap, nor is the prognosis always clear. Had the best experience with Exotic Vet Care! I‘m a first time duck owner so I was feeling very nervy and had a couple “silly” questions going into things but after our first visit I’m feeling much more confident and secure in my role as a duck mom. I called on Monday and was able to get my two ducks in that Wednesday for new patient visits with back to back time slots. The whole team was very welcoming and even helped handle getting the boys back into a room and comfortable while we waited for the doctor who saw us within the first 10 minutes. As someone who has multiple rabbits, finding a vet who specializes in exotic animals and treats them with genuine care is so important, and this team goes above and beyond every time. Their expertise with rabbits is unmatched. They take the time to explain everything clearly, are incredibly gentle and thorough with exams, and always make my bunnies feel safe.
