Dog-Gone Fancy

I would give NO stars if I could. I took my 2 dogs here today, a miniature poodle and a terrier mix. My poodle is 17 years old and has been getting groomed since she was 8 weeks old, and we have NEVER had this happen. They informed me that they could not give her a full groom service because she would not be still to allow them and it would have been too dangerous to do it. She gets groomed regularly and this has never happened. Maybe she sensed she was not in safe hands!! My terrier mix was able to be completely groomed, but I am not happy with the results. Her eyes still have eye boogers around them. She is white, her face and eyes irritated and red. She flinches when I try to touch her face and is acting very sad and depressed. She is normally happy and energetic after getting groomed.

I would NEVER go back to this groomer...extremely unreliable. This is the third time I have attempted to take both of my dogs here to have their nails trimmed on a Saturday. They are open and when I arrive with both of my dogs, they told me they don't have time to do their nails (which would have taken 10 minutes). I asked to make an appointment and they said they do not make them for nails. They requested that I bring both of my dogs back on another day. Today was the last straw. I will find another groomer. Just thought I would share my experience so no one else had their time wasted.

I took my Chow Chow, Molly, to these wonderful women for the last few years. I'd had issues with previous groomers refusing to care for her due to her breed. Most groomers fear Chows due to being known to bite (they're strong family only dogs). But these ladies had no issue! From the first day the women were welcoming and spoke so softly to her from the moment I brought her in. Each time I got her back, they were so sweet and she was always looking fantastic. My favorite incident was when I got Molly to the car and she was sitting in my passenger seat. One of the girls who groomed her ran out to Molly side of the car and was explaining to me to get a specific type of brush. She reached into my car and started brushing Molly, and my girl just leaned into it and looked so happy! Thi

this is the best groming shop ! they treat your pets so good !! my baby just started going she is 4 months old and was unruly 🙈 but she said it’s ok she’s just a puppy !! she will learn!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I have a golden doodle, and we’ve had some pretty terrible cuts elsewhere in his 8 years, however Dog Gone Fancy has always done a perfect job and exactly what I ask! Have been going there for probably 2 years now. The staff are always friendly and I feel comfortable leaving him there with them. It’s also comforting that they always seem to remember him. Thank you!
