Two weeks ago today, I had to let my precious fur baby go. This one was particularly more difficult as she was the last connection I had with my dad. We got her together and he got to enjoy her the last year of his life. I had her for over 15 years. She came into this world on my dad’s birthday and left on my mom’s birthday. Needless to say I was not holding up very well. Dr. Kellye Thompson was my Dr. that day. I just have to give her a shout out because she was so kind, sympathetic, empathetic and so supportive. She held my hands, spoke such comforting words and gave me a reassuring hug. This meant so much to me. The vet tech was also very kind and supportive. I had to take Smokey, my dog of about 13 years, in for euthanasia. A friend who had recently done the same with one of his dogs recommended Cy-Fair Animal Hospital. It's never an easy process. The staff and Dr. Blue were supportive and showed empathy. They did all they could to get me through the difficult process and to make it less stressful for Smokey. They were also way more reasonably priced than several places in the area, which were quoting $500+. I hope it is a while before I have to go through it again, but I recommend Cy-Fair Animal Hospital and Dr. Blue.

If you are looking for a compassionate vet that understands the hardship of having to euthanize your beloved fur baby of almost 16 years, this is not the place or the vets to deal with. No compassion. My baby, Lucy, was in and out of vet appointments here with several days of staying for care due to her illness, that ultimately took her life. We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Cy-Fair Animal Hospital today. My family and I recently moved and were hoping to find a new vet we could trust with our Rottweiler, Elvis, and we couldn’t have asked for a better team. Dr. Ross was fantastic with Elvis, taking things at his pace and showing such patience and care throughout the visit. He took the time to explain everything in detail, from the sedation and bloodwork to the nail trim, and made us feel completely at ease. The entire staff was just as incredible. I adopted two kittens on 12/6/25 and wanted to have them examined before the holidays. I chose Cy-Fair Animal Hospital at Louetta because of their availability (large staff and being open 7 days a week). The initial appointment for Cat #1 was on 12/13/25. The appointment felt rushed, but Dr. Thompson did answer all my questions. I was sent home with a cup to collect a stool sample and received a prescription for Revolution Plus. The following week, 12/20/25, I dropped off the stool sample for the parasite test. It was right before the holidays; therefore, I expected a delay in getting the results. I patiently waited but did not receive a phone call or email as of 12/30. I checked the online portal, and the results had been posted as of 12/23/25. My cat had tested positive for 3 dif
