Crescent Care Veterinary Clinic of the lowcountry

I've been taking both my dogs to Crescent Care for years, and with every visit (be it a panicked emergency or a routine check up), the vets and techs there help make every situation better, even the really hard ones. They listen, they are kind, patient, and proactive. My dogs are both weirdos with their own bag of issues, and I always feel lucky we have a vet close by who has people there that understand and even welcome difficult patients. Me, Ernie and Cooper appreciate your kindness, patience, and ability to help. We are lucky to have you in our community.

Absolutely amazing staff. I now bring all 3 of my dogs here & recommend them to everyone. No matter the news you receive, they are knowable, compassionate & genuine. 2 of my dogs are not dog friendly & they easily made accommodations for us. I’ve asked a million questions & they always are willing to answer my questions & educate me where education is needed. I wish all doctors offices made you feel this welcome.

I bring both of my cats here. I’ve gotten a bad feeling the last few visits when I would bring my cats in. The girls who work up front always act like you are annoying them, being very short with their responses and almost like they are speaking down to you. Today I had something urgent come up with my kitten and I was completely blown off over the phone when I tried making a same day appointment to be seen. I explained to them that she has stopped eating and they offered me an appointment two whole days later. In an off-putting tone I was told that if she vomits again that I need to just take her to an emergency vet. Thankfully I was able to get in at their new Daniel Island location. We had to say goodbye to our sweet pup a couple of weeks ago. When I contacted Crescent Care to make the appointment they were extremely professional and sensitive to our decision. Upon arrival, they greeted us at the door and took us back to a room they already had set up and waiting for us. We were given all the time we wanted to say our goodbyes and they sat with us through the process. Their professionalism and kindness are outstanding. We are very thankful to have this business in our community.

Everyone at Crescent Care is fabulous. Most recently, my pets have seen Dr. Yager & Dr. Back. About two months ago, we found out my bullmastiff had cancer & there was nothing more we could do. Dr. Yager was so kind & patient explaining everything to me to make sure I was ready to help him cross the rainbow bridge. My kids brought him chocolate cookies & whipped cream. Dr. Yager excused herself & came back in with a warmed plate of meatloaf & mashed potatoes. My kids, who are young, enjoyed feeding him a meal. It really lightened the mood for them. She even cried with me while he was going to sleep. He was only 4 and it was such a difficult decision but Dr. Yager’s compassion was such a comfort.
