Creekside Veterinary Clinic deserves far more than five stars. They were absolutely exceptional with my macaw, Baby. She has never been handled so gently and with such care. The staff took so much time with her and with me. I never felt rushed and I truly felt that they cared deeply about her wellbeing. Their pricing was also incredible. I was honestly shocked at how affordable it was, especially considering the level of attention and compassion they provided. In a world where veterinary care can feel impersonal and expensive, Creekside was the exact opposite. I left feeling grateful, relieved, and confident that my bird had received the very best care possible. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you to the entire Creekside team for taking such beautiful care of Baby. 🦜💚

New to Salem / Keizer, I am Parrot Enthusiast 31+ years. I read about this clinic on the web, and was encouraged to visit in person to inquire as to what would be involved for a simple nail Trim. I am not trying to make villains out of the reception staff, but I felt there was an 'air' of Condescension, coupled with a need to pontificate and tell me that 'even' if I visited my Doctor, there is a 'fee'. Well, yes and no. I simply wanted to meet the doctor either via phone briefly for 10 minutes to see if this facility was a fit for my beloved Parrots or not. I concluded right away unfortunately, based upon the social interpersonal skills exhibited by the greet staff, that I will seek another facility. We've been taking our dogs here for years, but the care we received this past Saturday was exceptional and deserved a review. We called Saturday morning to make an urgent appointment for possible euthanasia for our corgi, who had been declining in health rapidly and was unresponsive and not eating. Even though they were fully booked, they managed to fit us in. There was a bit of a wait, as 6 of their appointments unexpectedly became medical emergencies, but we were fine waiting in our car and they came out to get us as soon as an exam room opened up. Because our corgi couldn't move much, Dr. Eggert laid on the floor right next to him while she took his vitals and examined him to see if his symptoms were something he could recover from. Kind, clean, compassionate, quiet, and beautiful clinic! I have cats ranging from 1-15 years old, and most of them have needed significant vet work after adoption. When my former vet closed down with no warning, I was so nervous about finding a new clinic, but now I wish I had just come here years sooner! Whether you need to schedule an echocardiogram, dental extractions, extensive labs, or just a check up and vaccines, this vet clinic does it all at a reasonable price. My partner and I have both noted how friendly the staff are every time we come, and how quiet and clean the clinic is! They almost always get you back into a room immediately upon arrival, which really makes a huge difference when it comes to keeping your pet calm in an unfamiliar environment. I've brought my cat here for years. Even after moving further away I will still make the trek with her because I love this clinic so much. Everyone here is so kind and they all clearly love animals. Its clean, professional, friendly, and I have always found my cat's care to be above and beyond. You might pay a smidgen more than at some other places, but in this case you definitely get what you pay for. In my opinion, its more than worth it for the attentiveness and compassion for animals alone.
