I have been to DOZENS of vets. Dr Block is the very best I have seen! We have a very sick puppy (parvo), and I was having trouble getting an appointment…. Richardson vet clinic recommended Cottonwood. I was able to speak to the vet who saw us the next morning. He gave us our options and treated her, sending us home with instructions and medications. She is improving. The office called the next business day to check up with us. I can’t say enough good things about Dr Block. He is extremely knowledgeable and caring. I was very impressed! I absolutely recommend this clinic to anyone who loves their pet! Just an update… after 10 days, our little Butternut, has made a full recovery from parvo. She is perfect thanks to Dr Block! Thank you! ❤️

The doctor stayed late on a Friday so that he could see the dog. He was so nice and explained everything and was very patient. I would recommend to anyone!!! Wish I could give more than 5 stars.

I’m really happy I found this place! I’ve had many unpleasant experiences with vets in the past where i felt they were only interested in the money and not in giving my pets the care they needed. Dr. Block is a very sweet and sincere person. It’s obvious that he has had decades of experience and knows exactly what is necessary. I took my cat to him and she instantly took to liking him. It’s rare to find a vet that’s so good with cats! I felt that compared to other places I have been, the prices were fair and the treatment was great! My cat needed a simple surgery to remove a hernia and the whole procedure didn’t cost me an arm and a leg. At no point did I ever feel like they were pushing for anything that was not necessary. Both of my dogs enjoy coming here. Helmut is knowledgeable and friendly with the dogs. Price more than fair.
