Cartersville Animal Hospital

I cannot express the depth of my gratitude to Cartersville Animal Hospital for the extraordinary care they provided to my dog, Bambino, during the most horrific moment of our lives. We were attacked by two unleashed pit bulls in Cartersville, and Bambino was gravely injured. He underwent three major surgeries and was truly fighting for his life. From the moment we arrived, the entire staff showed compassion, urgency, and professionalism. They kept me informed every step of the way, explained every procedure in detail, and treated Bambino as if he were their own. In one of the most brutal and emotionally devastating moments l've ever experienced, they gave me hope and comfort when I desperately needed it. Their dedication, skill, and genuine care are the reason Bambino is still here with me

I called here looking for my pets vet records, turns out I had the wrong location EASY mistake right? Yeah well the woman who I spoke to was so rude. Like god forbid you call the wrong place. Talking to a potential customer like they are stupid is beyond professional and I would never leave my animals in your care anyways. If your job is to answer the phone and speak to people maybe fix your attitude. I also called back wanting to speak to the manager and some guy answered so I explained what happened and he hung up on me mid sentence. Probably shouldn't take your animals here. If they treat other people like garbage imagine how they will treat your pet.

Just moved here and at first thought everything was great my dog (Great Pyrenees)seemed to like the vet got her shots and asked if they boarded so we set up for her to board dropped her off on Friday happy and normal . I picked her up Monday she was shaking dazed and confused and completely not acting like her self , they said she was still wet from her bath , Tuesday she was still lethargic continued to be confused and having issues with shakes and her legs buckling we called them up they said they had no appts and nothing happened . Today Wednesday she had full blown seizures I called this vet up again to be told rudely by (Nina I believe )they have no appts and to google an emergency vet she then hung up on me . I finally got her to an emergency vet in Woodstock townelake vet who is do

Front staff was extremely rude when I called. My dog was having an allergic reaction so I decided to contact the closest animal vet. I introduced myself and asked if she had any opening and immediately cut me off and stated they did not. She was super rude on the phone and it was like pulling teeth trying to get her to look into the system to schedule an appt. Her name was Nina

Our favorite Vet ever! We moved from Dalton a few years ago and found this great Vet and we haven't left since!! We even moved back to Dalton 2 years ago and still make the 45 minutes drive to see Dr. McElwee! Even though our Lucy never looks at him in the eye she knows he takes great care of her! He will be thorough with her check ups and allows for any questions at the end. We've only had to bring her in for a sudden appt once ,but they got her in ASAP. We will gladly continue to see this great Vet and you should too!
