I cannot say enough wonderful things about Bay Street Animal Hospital. From the moment you walk in, you feel genuinely cared for — both as a pet parent and for your pet. Samantha at the front desk is always kind, patient, and incredibly helpful. She makes scheduling, check-ins, and questions feel easy and stress-free, which means so much when you’re worried about your fur baby. The vet techs, Kourtni and Angel, are absolutely amazing. They are gentle, knowledgeable, and clearly love what they do. They take the time to explain everything, make sure your pet is comfortable, and treat them like their own. And Dr. Arleo, who takes care of my dog Vader, is outstanding. He is thorough, compassionate, and takes the time to truly listen and explain all options. I never feel rushed, and I always

I give this place ZERO stars! I had a heartbreaking experience here and would strongly urge others to stay away from this joke of a hospital. I brought my kitten in because he was sick. Within about 20 minutes of arriving, he was gone. I understand he was already ill, but what made this even worse was how he was handled. I watched staff treat my tiny kitten with what felt like roughness and a complete lack of compassion. Their communication with me was cold and lacked empathy at a moment when kindness mattered most. My kitten was already fragile, and the added stress of being restrained and handled the way he was only seemed to make things worse. He went into cardiac arrest. I was told they performed three rounds of CPR, but when they returned him to me, it did not look like CPR had been

I have used Bay Street animal hospital since I moved into the URBY over 3 years ago. I am a quadriplegic on strong medication one day a pill fell on the floor and my puppy Bella found it. She almost died and the vets there saved her life! I am forever grateful to them! I now have a second puppy and they are the only vet I would ever think of bringing him to!

BAY STREET ANIMAL HOSPITAL did a fantastic job with my cat Teddy Nemo. Teddy had been crying alot and struggling to go to the bathroom. I had no idea what to do, I was very stressed out! I made a few calls, and found Bay Street Animal Hospital, 999 Bay Street, Staten Island. They said they take walk-ins (emergency situations get seen immediately). The walk-in price is $150 to get full check-up. They reported they are open 24/7. I was RELIEVED to hear all of that, PLUS the kind person with whom I spoke-- SAMANTHA-- really made me feel LESS stressed. She was kind and welcoming when Teddy Nemo and I walked in. It is SO important to get COMPASSIONATE helpful staff at the front desk!! Thank you Samantha ❤️. Next we were greeted by Andre--- SO pleasant and helpful and very understanding when

Me & my bf have been going to this facility for years with our dog Roxy. Everyone has always been good, but Dr. Aleo & vet tech Olivia were phenomenal!! Roxy has such bad vet anxiety & they were so gently with her. I’ve never seen our dog so calm with these visits. They were very informative and helpful. I can never thank them enough for how good they were with our baby Roxy! Receptionist Gabriella was also VERY sweet over the phone as I am a office manager. She had great customer service. We can’t thank you all 3 enough ❤️
